The Mind section in Sexy In Your 60's is to share what I've learned and applied to help others understand how powerful the Mind is,how we can manipulate it and make it work for us rather than against us. I've learned we have absolute control over one thing and that is our thoughts. This is the most inspiring and important truth known to human kind! It reflects our divine nature and is the only means by which we can control our own destiny.

There's a fine line between thought and action Hill tells us. If we can train our conscious mind by studying our thoughts, fostering a positive attitude of self and others, and our circumstances, the unconscious mind follow and be in step with our objectives. The end result contributes greatly to our happiness, our health and our progress. Unfortunately,we spend a lot of our time thinking we aren't good enough, smart enough, talented enough to realize our dreams; we sabotage ourselves needlessly. We all will meet with temporary defeats and perhaps some failures as well. I have and most people I know have. What we need to heed is there are no such things as failure; there are only delays in the results. Napolean Hill brought that wisdom home to roost, never to be forgotten or ignored. This book is a must have. It will change your life if you apply the information.

"All glory comes from daring to begin." ~ Eugene Wake (1841-1911)

Napoleon Hill, his classic, timeless book, Think & Grow Rich, has been and always will be my bible of sorts when it comes to the power of our minds. Writing the book was a testionial to his innate wisdom and knowing. His very first chapter is called "Thoughts Are Things", powerful things he tells us and when they are mixed with definiteness of purpose, persistence, and a burning desire for their translation, miracles happen.

Regardless of whatever might impede our progress in life, (such as money, knowledge or education) Hill tells us those things are unimportant compared to our thoughts and ideas. It's our thoughts that house the components of desire and determination that push us forward.
